It may happen that
life gets busy suddenly..school, work, college...the list goes on. But
that doesn't need to mean you must take a wikiBreak if you do not want
to.
Steps
-
1On your user page, notify others that you will be busy and not on wikiHow as much. Perhaps this may mean your response time to messages will grow longer-say this as well.Ad
-
2If you have any pending business, take care of it. This includes having placed a Deletion tag on an article.
-
3Be efficient with your time. Procrastinating may mean you have less time for wikiHow.
-
4Every day, if possible, quickly scan your talk page for new messages. Reply to them, allotting no more than five or ten minutes per day for this. This way, you will not be ignoring those in need of help.
-
5Set aside one hour or so a week, or more if you can, to contribute to wikiHow. This could be RC patrolling or writing/editing/boosting articles (if you are a booster).
-
6Be realistic. If your schedule has gotten too busy, it may be time for a wikiBreak. If this happens, place a notice on your user page.
